Claire Pinkerton

Occupational Therapist

I was born and raised in Novi, Michigan, a suburb outside of Detroit. After high school, I took the step to leave home and moved to West Virginia to attend West Virginia University. At WVU, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Human Performance and Health with a minor in Communication Studies as well as my Master’s of Occupational Therapy. During my time at WVU, I had many unique experiences that helped to foster my passion for Occupational Therapy and working with children. I had the opportunity to work in a daycare for children with and without disabilities, acted as a peer mentor for a college student with disabilities and participated in an inclusive musical theatre program for children. Following graduation in May of 2023, I moved to Venice, Florida to pursue my dream job of being a pediatric occupational therapist! I am a Registered Occupational Therapist through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and I am Licensed by the State of Florida. I have clinical experience in the outpatient setting with both adults and children as well as the skilled nursing setting.
