Our therapists can evaluate your child’s posture, joint movement, muscle strength, balance and coordination to make sure they are meeting their developmental milestones.
CHILDHOOD APRAXIA OF SPEECH
Childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) is a motor speech disorder that makes it difficult for children to speak. When a child has apraxia of speech, the messages from the brain do not get through correctly to the mouth.
COGNITION
Cognitive disorders in children can be difficult to understand and cope with. it is important understand what cognitive skills are and learn how to pick up on the signs of cognitive skill deficiencies.
DEAF/HARD OF HEARING
If a child has a “hearing impairment” or “hearing loss,” it means they have a full or partial loss of their ability to correctly hear sounds in their environment.
